The taxation world is being significantly changing with the upcoming of new regulations addressing very recent issues. A major change is being passed worldwide in order to prevent tax evasion and money laundering, which consists of implementing the automatic exchange of information among countries on individuals and companies, with the active assistance of financial institutions and tax authorities. Taiwan Cosmetics Regulations under substantial reform

New Taiwan cosmetics regulations may be passed in 2017 in Taiwan after a new draft was approved by the Taiwan Executive Yuan, and sent to the Parliament for passing. The new system would be based on notification as provided in the European Union.

Pascal Thien-Ah-Koon, managing partner of our firm, and co-chairman of the ECCT cosmetics committee in Taiwan since 2011, has been instrumental in making the European cosmetics system more familiar in Taiwan.
